[MySQL] MySQL 설치 for Mac

mac에서 homebrew를 이용하여 MySQL을 설치하려고 합니다.

 

homebrew 설치

저는 homebrew가 설치되어 있지만, 설치가 안되어있는 분들은 아래 링크를 참고해주시면 됩니다.

homebrew 업그레이드

homebrew를 업그레이드하는 방법은 다음과 같습니다.

두 가지가 있어서 차례로 작성하겠습니다.

1. brew update 한 뒤 brew upgrade

 

2. brew upgrade 만 하기

(brew upgrade는 brew update를 포함하고 있습니다.)

 

 

MySQL 설치

brew install mysql

 

 

버전 확인

mysql -V

 

 

서버 켜기

mysql.server start

 

 

초기 설정

mysql_secure_installation

 

VALIDATE PASSWORD COMPONENT can be used to test passwords

and improve security. It checks the strength of password

and allows the users to set only those passwords which are

secure enough. Would you like to setup VALIDATE PASSWORD component?

 

Press y|Y for Yes, any other key for No: 

블록 안의 명령어를 치면 위와같이 나옵니다.

복잡한 비밀번호를 설정한 것인지 물어보는데, 저는 No를 선택했습니다.

 

그 다음 비밀번호와 비밀번호 확인을 진행하면 다음처럼 나옵니다.

 

By default, a MySQL installation has an anonymous user,

allowing anyone to log into MySQL without having to have

a user account created for them. This is intended only for

testing, and to make the installation go a bit smoother.

You should remove them before moving into a production

environment.

 

Remove anonymous users? (Press y|Y for Yes, any other key for No) : 

default로 설정되는 anonymous users를 제거할건지 물어봅니다. 제거를 하려면 y를 눌러줍니다.

 

Normally, root should only be allowed to connect from

'localhost'. This ensures that someone cannot guess at

the root password from the network.

 

Disallow root login remotely? (Press y|Y for Yes, any other key for No) : 

root 접속을 localhost에서만 가능하게 할 지, 외부에서도 가능하게 할지 물어봅니다.

외부에서 root 접속을 불가능하게 하려면 Yes, 가능하게 하려면 No를 입력합니다. 저는 Yes로 했습니다!

 

By default, MySQL comes with a database named 'test' that

anyone can access. This is also intended only for testing,

and should be removed before moving into a production

environment.

 

 

Remove test database and access to it? (Press y|Y for Yes, any other key for No) : 

test database를 삭제할건지 물어봅니다. yes를 입력해주었습니다.

 

Reloading the privilege tables will ensure that all changes

made so far will take effect immediately.

 

Reload privilege tables now? (Press y|Y for Yes, any other key for No) :

변경된 권한을 테이블에 적용할건지 물어봅니다. 무조건 Yes로 입력해주세요.

 

 

초기 보안 설정 끝!!

 

 

MySQL 접속

mysql -u root -p

위 명령어 입력 후 조금 전 본인이 설정한 비밀번호를 입력합니다.

참고로 비밀번호 입력 시 화면에는 아무것도 뜨지 않는 것이 정상입니다!

 

>mysql 앞에 이렇게 뜨면 정상적으로 접속되었습니다.

 

MySQL 종료

exit

 

 

서버 종료

mysql.server stop
